Facebook is one of the fastest tools to share ideas and information and it’s where you can expand beyond your traditional audience while engaging those who have loyalty to you.
This session will unpack the discomfort of Facebook, create an outline for at least three tactics to be more effective, show you the benefits of using Facebook for more than an increase in followers, and give you tips on how to create stories that will aid in the fundraising and volunteer engagement. The instructor will provide a real time one-minute Facebook audit for participants.
What will you need to get started? Bring yourself, your laptop, and have your passwords handy for logging in. Participants are encouraged to set up a Facebook organization page before attending, if they do not have a page already.
This workshop is designed for nonprofit marketing and communications professionals, or anyone with a marketing aspect to his/her position.
